Do I need to remove my Apple ID before selling my Mac?
Yes, this one’s non-negotiable. Activation Lock means a locked Mac is effectively unusable to a new owner, so we can’t buy one that’s still signed in. Go to System Settings > [your name] > iCloud, turn off Find My Mac, then sign out completely. If you set a firmware password, remove that too.
Do you buy MacBooks or iMacs with damage or that don’t turn on?
